Google Play Store introduces simultaneous app downloads feature

Google Play Store: simultaneous app downloads.

Introducing a game-changing update to the Google Play Store: simultaneous app downloads. The default app store for Android now permits users to download multiple new applications simultaneously.
Days are gone of waiting impatiently as one app downloads before you can start the next. With this elegant new feature, you can now queue up multiple app downloads.

It’s not just about speed; it’s about an enhanced user experience. With the updated feature, you can continue using your device without interruption while your apps seamlessly download in the background.
while there is a limitation to this feature, you can’t download 5 to 10 apps together, only two apps can be downloaded simultaneously, while attempting to download a third app will place it in pending status, until two initial apps have finished installing.
It is important to note that this feature only applies to new downloads. When updating an existing app, the queue system remains in place, downloading apps one by one.

Apple app store has the capability of downloading three apps simultaneously, which is not ideal.

Therefore, Google play store has made an improvement by introducing a new feature that allows downloads in batches of two. This means that when users switch to a new phone and download a large number of apps, the time taken can potentially be reduced by half.

However, the reason for the limitation of downloading only 2 apps remains unclear. possible explanations may be downloading more than 2 apps may distract internet speed and cause all apps take longer to download or Google is testing this feature and may increase the number of apps that can be downloaded simultaneously in the future.
